DIGITAL PRINTS

After purchasing a digital print you will get immediate access to all files to download from the website. You will also be emailed a link to the files.

Larger files and collections are compressed into zip files that will need to be extracted so we recommend downloading them to your desktop computer rather than a phone or tablet.

How can I print my digital art?

AT HOME
I recommend using an acid free archival cardstock in a quality inkjet printer. The size and quality of the print will be dependent on the capabilities of your printer.

ONLINE
There are many websites that allow to upload the files provided and get prints delivered to your door!

LOCAL PRINT SHOP (RECOMMENDED)
Head down to your local print shop and have a chat with them about what options they offer that will give you the best results possible.

What size are the digital prints?

Our digital prints come in a range of sizes and ratios from 10×10″ to 16×20″ depending on the products. All the sizes offered for a specific print can be found in its description.

All print files are 300dpi and are less than 25MB to ensure they are compatible with online printers.

Can I print and sell the images or use them for any other commercial purposes?

No. These downloads are for personal use only. You may not share or resell the digital file, and you may not sell prints of the art. Purchase of any digital download does not grant you any rights to the public display, promotional use, commercial sale, resale, reproduction, distribution or commercial exploitation of any Yaku Co. print.

We always aim to do amazing work, however, it’s not always easy creating someone’s likeness from a photo. We are always happy to make revisions until you are 100% happy with your portrait.

Anything you like!

Do pets count as one person?

Yes.

Yes, it’s yours to do whatever you want with.

Can you work from more than one photo?

The more photos you can provide us the better. Just make sure you’re clear how you’d like your illustration to look in the order notes.

What quality photo should I send?

The better quality the photo is, the easier it is for us to accurately capture your likeness. Don’t worry, we’ll let you know if we’re having issues with your photo.

Will I be charged for changes to my order after it’s been made?

It is the customer’s responsibility to specify all the details they would like in their order in the order notes. Any details not included in the order notes will be assumed by our artist and will result in additional charges if the customer requires changes.
